PED - Risk Assessment

We are looking to market and sell in Europe. We are using the 2014/68/EU Pressure Directive. We are working on the PED. I am looking for a risk assessment template for the PED.

Is there a risk assessment template that aligns with what the EU is looking for, that I can use? If so, where can I find this risk assessment template?

When I have worked with Lloyds in that past on PED registrations they had risk assessment templates and categorization tools available. The notified body you are working with for your registration may have slightly different templates so it is bet to check with them.

I don't think there are product specific risk assessment templates. In EU we use ISO 12100 (Safety of machinery - General principles for design - Risk assessment and risk reduction) which provides generic risk assessment guidelines. Have a read of the standard or if you are just looking for an Excel/PDF template check out yinterlock.com. Its a free web tool that will help you guide through the risk assessment process and generate a report at the end in Excel or PDF formats.
