Percentage of lost seat for gasket acceptable.

After internal inspection of an exchanger, seat for jacketed gasket was reported corroded, as a consequence of this the sealing area was reducid 50% in the worst area.
There is a tolerance about what is the percentage of lost seat acceptable?
