Periodic Boundary Conditions on Unit Cell

Does anyone know to apply periodic boundary conditions on a unit cell of a repetitive unit cell of a cellular structure? For example periodicity only in a particular direction, maybe in x or y-direction for a boundary of the unit cell.

On COMSOL or Abaqus.
