Permeability not affecting soils analysis

Hi all,

I am running a steady-state soils analysis in Abaqus, and no matter what I change the permeability to (other than zero), the results do not change. Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong?

Which output don’t change ? Did you check the ones related to pore fluid flow ?

Ah, you're right, the fluid velocity does change. Does it not affect the stresses and pore pressure? Those aren't changing.
