Pharmaceutical Piping System

Hi All,

I am an project engineer who is conducting the Gas piping system for semiconductor or general industry.

But Recently, I am interesting in the DI Water piping in pharma which need the orbital welding. So, can anyone let me know what are the specifications for the piping systems, besides the certication jobs for the line as well.

start by getting a copy of the ASME BPE Specification.
This is what most bio system design/fab are based on.
Many either omit portions of the BPE, and/or add sections of their own.

Their is no hard and fast rule about the systems for high purity water. Different companies use different criteria.
