Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4) - coefficient of expansion

Hi,

I'm making some heat transfer calculations, to determine a steam coil to heat a phosphoric acid tank.
For this i need the coefficient of expansion of this acid.

I've searched a lot but i didn't find anything. Does anyone have a value??

No, but you can calculate/estimate the cubic thermal expansion of the acid using density vs. temperature data, which will be easier to find. The fifth post in thread124-171158 has the definition of the cubic thermal expansion. I hope this helps.

Technically, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.
