PID Control Loop Algorithm for Speed Control in PIC Processors

I am looking for any information on implementing PID Control loops for a single input, speed, to implement using a PIC processor of my choice. Even if someone knows the algorithm for implementation, I can complete the rest. Please let me know any related information.

Are you looking for the algorithm in code or just the PID algorithm? If your using PIC are you using assembler, C, or Basic?
