I am modeling a piezo electric slab with coupled field elements. I have activated the following dof's: ux,uy,uz,and volt. I believe that one of my constitutive equation then should be the following:
electric flux =(stress*compliance)+(piezo matrix*E field)
in the absence of electric flux D1=D2=D3=0 and with uniaxial stress applied sigma33=#, the constitutive relationship should reduce to the following:
E33=(-sigma33*d33)/e3
The ansys results to not correlate. Please advise.
