Hey guys see the attached files. I have a pile cap. I'm designing it according to EC2. However I'm not sure about how to find the minimum reinforcement? I have a suggestion though:

I would find the minimum reinforcement for the pile cap by considering it as a deep beem therefore i will use the following formula: 0,001*t_pilecap= 0,001*800mm= 800mm^2/m

Is that correct? thanks in advance

Have you tried strut and tie method? I think it is appropriate method in this case, but one with more experience designing pile caps should comment.

Yes i have however i don't know what the minimum reinforcement requirement in the pile cap is.

As in any other beam or slab - min [0.0013*b*t ; 0.26*b*d*(fctm/fyk)]
