Pile load Tests

Hello everyone,
I am researching the procedure for Pile Load Tests. In particular I am interested in Static Load Tests both for Trial Piles and for Working Piles.
Searching EC7 I have found the sections about the tests (7.5), but the contents are a bit ambiguous. The code gives some references (that I think describe the procedure), in particular ASTM journal references, but I do not have access to ASTM journals. On top of that I believe that the US equivalent is ASCE 20-96 which I cannot find either. Any help would be welcome and thanks in advance.

Its probably better in the foundation engineering section but it doesnt matter. Most people check this room if they are interested in civil/geotechnical engineering.

What exactly is your question? You dont like the way EC7 discusses the static load test?...

Thank you for answering. My end point is to describe the procedure for obtaining the ground resistances both using trial piles and verify using working piles and EC7 does not describe the procedure.
After gathering the data, I know the procedure described in section 7.6 for calculating the characteristic and design resistances, so the step I am missing is the procedure for obtaining the data.
