I have a 600' long proposed asphalt roadway (20' wide)that a developer wants to build over very challanging conditions. The road would be 15% grade and over an area designated as a land slide hazard area. Initial geotech evaluations state that the road could be built but a pile wall would have to be constructed along the entire south side to retain it. Not sure how deep the piles need to be to stabilize it. Im guessing 100'+ feet. I am just trying to get a VERY general cost of what it might take to build this wall. The actual exposed hieght of the wall will only be 12'14' in the revine areas but the big cost will be the piles. Would anyone have a general idea of what it would cost to build something like this?
