I am searching for a pillow block bearing that is similar to the UCP 314 FYH which withstands temperatures to about 500C of heat. Please refer me to the manufacturer as the current bearing I am using is the UCP 314 and it gets damaged every few weeks.
Thank you for you attention.

what exactly causes the bearing to fail? is it the temperature as such (jamming the bearing and increasing the rolling resistance) or the lubricant that is not able to function adequately in the temperature range for a longer period of time, so tthat after that lack of lubrication causes bearing failure?

@dvd Thank you for the help. I have just contacted them.

@romke The problem is due to over heating. at temperatures of circa 500C. The bearing itself cannot withstand high temperatures. that is why I am looking for the ones which can withstand these high temperatures. It is located in the dryer.

It is common practice to insulate and/or actively cool bearings that are exposed to heat. This is usually cheaper and more robust than finding bearings that operate at such high temperatures. Perhaps you only need to fix a problem with your insulation or cooling. Perhaps your operating procedures are wrong. Ovens often require that they be cooled down before turning off the blower so that heat cannot soak down the shaft and cook the bearing, as there is no cooling without the shaft rotating.
