Pilots harness anchor point geometry

Fellow aircraft builders

I need to lay out the geometry of the anchor points for the pilots harness. A thorough search through CS23 and FAR23 didn’t bring up any valuable information. The only reference I found is AS 21-34 from 1993. Actually this is exactly what I need but I fear it is outdated. Besides I am having difficulties to comply with it (Geometry described in AS 21-34 in red)

Any help finding some useful regulation an that subject is much apreciated.

Recommended for you

Look at CS VLA Appendix A.
AMC VLA 785 (e)
Seats, Safety Belts and Harnesses (Acceptable Means of Compliance)

That should help you.

Great stuff. The numbers correspond to AS 21-34 but the document is current.

Thanks for pointing me there.

May i suggest FAA AC43.13-2B, chapter 9, titled shoulder harness installations, pages 83 thru 106 and

Aerospace Standard SAE, AS8043 restraints systems for civil aircraft.

FAA AC43.13-2B, chapter 9 covers the shoulder harness only. But it gives some nice details to round up the big picture.(y)
