i am trying to find out how to calculate the weight of a pipe support if i have the dimensions. is there a formula i use? How do i do it?

Steel weighs 3.4 lbs. per sq. in. per ft. of length. Therefore, if the cross-sectional area of the pipe is 2 sq. in., the pipe weighs 6.8 lbs./ft.
