At the moment I'm busy creating an intake suction pipe for a dredging vessel. But I have problems with getting it all to work in NX5.
The situation:
I've one sketch which contains a circle and another sketch at an offset with a sort of dented oval. Both sketches need to be combined into one pipe. I'd get it sort of working with Through Curves, but it's not ideal.
Nevertheless I converted the pipe to sheet metal (in four stages) and tried to create a flat pattern. I get an error that NX cannot compute. I already split the pipe by subtracting the material, so it should me possible to create a flat pattern.
How do I get this to work? And how do I get both sketches combined into one pipe the best?
