Hi,
Could someone tell me, please, what kind of software is used for the drafting of pipeline alignment drawings?

Thanks

Any CAD program can be used.
Helps if you can paste aerial photos on the plan track.

You stated it was an "Acad dwg"... it is probably an output from a software package called AutoCAD.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

This is without a doubt an AutoCAD compatible drawing. Many CAD packages can open and work with DWG files. The DWG file is not as standard as say DOC or XLS and it is not open source, yet it is not necessarily created by AutoCAD.

AlignDB is probably the best software for pipeline alignment sheets. It runs on top of autocadmap.
