Hello Everyone,
I am working at a chemical plant that stores 37% conc. HCL in a double layered epoxy coated Carbon Steel tank and transfers that acid into dilution tanks via epoxy lined MS Piping. Due to ageing, we are planning on replacing the current tanks with FRP tanks and associated transfer piping with "cPVC, uPVC, or PVC". Pipe sizes are NPS 3 inch.
I have searched for chemical compatibility datasheet in the internet and found out that cPVC serves this purpose best.
Can anyone suggest some expert opinion on this matter as to the isolation valve material requirements and best piping materials?
