I found following chart to determine minimum spacing between pipes and between pipes and structures.

PIPE%20SPACING%20CHART.pdf

Can anyone tell me if this is based on any published standard or code?

Thanks in advance,

Looks like it's based on flange diameter and bolting up wrench clearance.

Corgas,
That is a copy of a typical"Company Standard". The company I was with for most of my 45 years as a Piper had the same chart. I have seen the same basic chart with other company names in the title block and some with 2" or 3" between pipes where this one has 1". It is not a Copyrighted document.

I have never seen anything in any of the Piping Codes or Industry National Standards.

Pipeline codes require a minimum of 12" clear of foreign objects.

BigInch :

Which code will that be?

I checked ASME B31.3 and there was nothing in there.
