Plane not visible

If I right click on a plane and click show, the plane is displayed. However if I click in the model area the plane disappears. Why is the plane disappearing? Can I prevent this?

That sounds like a video card & driver problem. Are yours certified?

Just a quick message, check whether planes will show in general.

Go to the 'View' menu and check to see if planes are highlighted, if not, select it, and your plane should show up.
