MrGear,

Did you not find anything suitable when searching with Google using the keywords from the subject line (i.e. Planetary Gear Train Design Software)?

A software package that I have used to design gears is TK Solver. I'm sure there may be better ones out there, but Tk Solver can pretty much do it all including forces, stresses, bending, fatigue, etc. calcs from design parameters that you put in. As a bonus it is pretty user friendly. We have elec and computer guys doing prelim work on it for gears they need.

There are demo versions available and the software usually comes with a bunch of different examples.

I even got a copy with a textbook once.

Good Luck
