plastics - and UV testing

I am looking for insight into what UV standards are typically used for plastics. Is ASTM most frequently used? what about IEC? also I understand that the IEC requires more broadband frequency range. Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about industrial designs but most of the architects prefer ASTM and BS in terms of UV testing.
