Please anybody can explain that
Is any restrictions in single pass thk of welding.
Because in form ASME SEC IX QW-482 max pass thk 13mm yes and No is given.

QW-482 just is a suggested WPS format. you can choose yes or no if you have/have not a pass with thickness more than 13mm.

the technical subject related to essential variable in table QW-253,QW-254 and related description in QW-403.9


Based on QW-403.9 if thickness of pass is more than 13mm, PQR just support maximum thickness 1.1 of test coupon.
