Using NX9

I created a point and a line (using Basic Curves)on the modeling side of my drawing Dataset. When I flip to the drawing side, the point and line do not appear in any existing drawing views. This is not Layer or View Dependent issue. I've seen this before. This is a preference/setting issue. Anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks!!

Do a view update and see if that helps.
Your drawing views will only show "out of date" if a solid body changed.

Updated the views first thing. Didn't help. I probably should have mentioned that. Sorry.

most likelly the views in your drawing are not from your drawing dataset file. Instead are from your model/assembly "master" dataset file.
Adding geometry to your drawing dataset file will not show up in your views.
Select your views and do menu >> information >> object (Ctrl + I)
In the section "Drawing Member View Display Settings", see what file is referenced under "Part Name" field

Hi, rmorgan890

This is a bit of trivia, but you haven't implicitly mentioned whether you tried the Show and Hide (Ctrl+W) feature or not. If not, just try to run this command and click the Show plus for all the mentioned objects' types, as far as I understood, these are Curves and Points (alternatively, you may click the Show plus corresponding to All type). Don't forget to update all the views after that, not just ones suggested by NX.

NX 10.0.3.5

Try putting another ones of these views down on the drawing and see if the lines appear. If they do we can try to figure it out from there.
