Hi-
ok, this is a basic question but I don't have a lot of experience in surveying. What is the difference between a .crd file and an .asc (ASCI?) file? Is it just formatting? Is there a way to convert between the two?
The situation I'm in, is that I've always used Microstation and EaglePoint software to create a points file (which is exported as a .txt file). A contractor on a job I'm working on has requested a .crd file though and I'm unsure how to get him that.
Thanks for the help.
