Points from a curve

Hello,

I need to generate a set of points that follow a set of curves. The points must be equally spaced in regards to a specified axis. The 'Point Set' tool does not seem to be able to do this. The linked picture shows what I want to be able to do:

You can use Insert>Curve from Bodies>Section

Set type to Parallel Planes, select the curve as the Object to Section, pick a plane normal to your desired axis, enter the start, end, and step values.
