points not appearing in 3dxml file 2

Hi,
I am trying to create points on a surface to indicate spots for spot welding ,but while generating 3dxml file the points are not appearing .If the points are placed in construction geometry set they appear .I have hundred points and its tedious to do it manually .Is there a way to automate it?

Hello,

as far as I know, 3dxml, only exports surfaces and solids. is not able to export, points, lines, planes...

But Why do you need the 3dxml file with that information?

Hi,
I need it to show spots(points) for spot welding information.For time being I am constructing circles with those points as center and then using "contructed geometry creation" command to put those points in the "annotation set" thus being able to show in 3DXML file.
But the whole process is tedious .So I wanted to automate it.Mainly the "contructed geometry creation" part.

Hi

With latest 3dxml version you can open:
- on left a cgr file
- on right a 3dxml file
