I have been doing DSC testing on a polyamide 12. All of the samples are suppose to be the same, but on 2 of the samples there is no glass transition present. I am running the test at 20C/min. The reason I am testing the samples is after the resin has been molded it is sticking to the mold. I think the 2 samples with no Tg present must have come in contact with moisture and this may be the cause of the sticking, but I am not sure. Any ideas would be helpful thank you.

Why do not folk read manufacturer's data sheets?
It is so easy!

We mould tonnes pa of PA12 and I cannot recall a "sticking in the mould" problem. PA 12 is never, ever a problem.

I guess you're not in the USA as their usual equivalent is PA610?

It's ok to soar like an eagle, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

No I am in the US. I am getting the correct Tg for all the samples with the exception of 2. I have never seen this before with any samples where if a Tg is suppose to be there its there. I have ran the samples several times and there is no Tg present. We have never had this problem before and I am at a loss.
