Polycarbonate simulation properties

Good day,

I am trying to analyze a metal wall plate with a circular polycarbonate window attached to it.
What properties do I need to specify to simulate the elasticity of the polycarbonate?
I have never simulate the behavior of a polymer before.

Hi,

You will need at least the nonlinear stress-strain material data from the test. It is dependend on the application & loading scenario, whether you will need more data. I am quite sure that the typical values E & Poisson's Ratio are not sufficient to have the approximately correct results.
