Polycarbonate with wax/paraffin, oils, and food coloring

Is Polycarbonate compatible with wax/paraffin oils and food coloring. I see some candle wax mold made of Polycarbonate that is sold but doesn't the aromatic oils and food colors degrade the Polycarbonate?

I would think it would cause stress fractures or something.

PC is resistant to oils and waxes, food colors are generally non reactive (at least the ones that would be soluble in paraffins) to PC, but yes - aromatic oils might give it trouble. The degradation would be a function of concentration, temperature and time, so maybe they get away with it due to the typically low concentrations of the aromatic in the candle wax?

Sorry, but PC is rubbish with oils and fats. Causes severe ESC.
No idea about paraffin wax though.
Call GE or another PC maker.
