I'm looking for details related to Polysulphide Sealants and their compatibility with specific plastics.
I've spent about an hour googling and cannot not find reference to their compatibility with Polypropylene and Polyethylene. I've looked at MSDS & TDS and everything in between. There is specific mention not to use Polysulphide Sealants with ABS, PVC and Polycarbonate but no mention about Polypropylene and Polyethylene. From the TDS's I've seen, Polysulphide Sealants are safe to use on Nylon & Epoxy plastics but what about Polypropylene and Polyethylene?
I'm not really looking for alternatives, as I've got a bunch of Polysulphide and want to use it on Polypropylene and Polyethylene in a variety of applications.
Will Polysulphide "attack" Polypropylene or Polyethylene?
Thanks,
VS
