Hi all, first post on this forum,

Does NX have the ability to "mirror" components in an assembly without creating mirrored versions of the bodies and new part files? I've seen plenty of posts in creating associative mirrors of bodies, but nothing quite what I'm looking for.

E.g. I have a component with a bolt pattern symmetric in one plane, and I would like to mirror the bolts to the other side (while not creating LH bolts). This is a feature I've used for hardware fairly often in other CAD packages.

Thanks,
Alexander

Thanks cowski, it looks like that's pretty close to what I want. I wasn't aware of that option in the mirror assembly wizard. Is there any way to make the "reuse and reposition" associative to movement of the original components? Is there a way to go back and edit the mirror from the wizard, to add or remove components? If not, it seems quick enough that deleting the components and redoing it isn't a big deal.

No, there is still missing associative Mirror Assembly in NX...
