I need an explanation of why the restraint value FY found in a +Y support are positives in the expansion load case

PIPE MATERIAL: FRP FIBERGLASS
STANDARD: ISO 14692

Without context this is difficult to tell. Might be a support lift off issue (e.g. V-stop with restraint to move up)

Perhaps some supports are opposing each other against the thermal expansion. This can be seen at support on the pipe that change direction. It seem one of the support should be eliminated or change in the support location is necessary. It is difficult to say something without seeing the pipe route and support arrangements.

This image is not sufficient itself, however I suggest you to check the densities of pipe material and other if available. The unit of the densities should be suitable for the unit system selected.

To be able to add more we need the image of all the node numbers, coordinate system and entire supports.

Did you check the density units that you used in the analysis?

Additionally check the pipe wall thicknesses. Units have to be consistent, otherwise you may end up this kind of problems.

If these two do not solve your problem contact Hexagon Coade for assistance.
