Try speaking to the engineers at the place where you are getting your work experience? They should be the first place you look to find information and if you are lucky they may even have some books / catalogues for you to look at.

The Chemical Engineering (McGraw-Hill) weekly has published a reprint of two articles titled Positive-displacement pumps that appeared in the Sept. 21, 1981 issue, which includes:

Reciprocating Pumps by Terry L. Henshow
Diaphragm metering pumps- by John M. Bristol

worth of reading.

Dear Aniche,
If sites are what you're looking for, try google or any search engine, and search for : "positive displacement pump" + principle + application.
Good luck. I will come with my site soon. Hehehe.

MW
