Hello!

I am set up a series of standard drawings for our shop rebar & stud spacing details. I use LT2014.

What I would like to accomplish is:

-Designer inputs stud spacing, and rebar spacing into a table (ex. '10M rebar @ 12" o/c')
-A leader in another part of the drawing has text associated through a field with that specific cell in the table, and automatically displays the text that is in the table cell

I haven't done much in the way of fields before, so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated!

If fields work the same in LT as regular Acad:

Create a leader or mleader-
>Insert a field
>>In the Field Dialog, select Formula for the field name.
>>Then, select the Cell button, and pick the cell in the table you want to reference.

Thanks for the reply, I tried that and the field is just leaving #### as the value independent of what is in the cell

It appears the formula field name only applies to numerical values, not a text string
