Post at edge of footing

Per attached section - I've got a post that's bearing down with the edge flush with a cold joint between existing and add-on footing. All of Simpsons post bases call for a minimum of 2" of clearance, and I don't think they would extend their warranty in the given situation. To make matters worse, I've got a hefty uplift of 3-4k on this post. Curious if anyone might have a suggestion for a straightforward solution. Currently thinking a custom embed plate that sits more concentric with the footing, and cantilevers to pick up the post in an uplift condition.

Assuming that you aren't having bearing or frost protection issues with that detail. One idea is you could do a steel embed plate and then weld a knife plate to it with thrubolts into into the post? Or you could drill epoxy anchors through the post and into the foundation wall.

Use a holdown (HDU) with Simpson SSTB with the anchor bolt offset toward the center of footing.

What fp23 suggests - I would simply design a custom base plate, offset from the column, to get the anchorage well into the new footing.

Harbringer - I really like the concept, but with the posts being discretely located, I don't have much faith that the contractor will place these anchors accurately.
