Powder sucking simulation 1

Hi all,
I want to do powder sucking simulation something like in this clip

I don't know what program to start with. Can anyone give me some advice?

I think your main problem is the modelling the air, hence CFD is probably required. Fluent or even the free OpenFoam. The dynamics of the particles of dust are also complex, you might need to co-sim with an MBD program such as MSC ADAMS. However there are some simple particle based sims around.

Looks like openfoam might be able to do the lot
