I need help identifying and finding documentation on a power factor correction controller.

It is marked with the following:
"GEC Measurements" and "NOVAR 200"
Model # NV26S6D002
Serial # 26338W
Wiring Diagram # TT9022

Does anyone recognize this controller? Where can I find a user's manual?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi GCaudill,

This product was taken over by Alsthom when they had an 'h' in their name. I have a paper copy of datasheet for the NOVAR 300 unit which is presumably a slightly later model. Notes at the end of the datasheet indicate that the wiring is interchangeable between the two types.

The datasheet is also available from the Alstom website, although they list it as the NOVAR 305. Weblink follows:

Thank you ScottyUK. I have downloaded the sales brochure and commissioning manual. I have also contacted Areva to ask for documentation on the NOVAR 200. We'll see what happens.

Areva sent me the manual for the NOVAR 200 in a .pdf. I am amazed at the speed and positive response for such an old product.

Anytime.
