I monitored my high pressure air compressor over the weekend and noticed that I had very different PF's on the 2 phases that the monitor logs, I would like to have any and all help to explain it. Phase A had a PF of .254 Phase B had a pf of .929 and system pf was .661. These readings are an average of 10,000 readings.

My guess is that whatever you are using to get this data is connected incorrectly.

Check phase and POLARITY of all CT and PT connections.

Could it be a two watt meter type of connection where you need the results of both meters for three phase values and the results of neither meter by itself means anything?
