Hi all,
I was hoping somebody could help me understand the difference between the parameters being read from an EATON IQ 100 Power meter. I am putting together a Modbus template to poll various parameters from the meter. The Modbus map is attached. The site we the meter is installed is a diesel power microgrid. We are interested in using the meter data to calculate fuel consumption from the Diesel gens onsite. The meter provides a number of parameters that can be polled (see attached Modbus map). I was wondering if somebody could help to explain the difference between the following parameters W-hours, Delivered , W-hours, W-hours, Net, W-hours, Total. Which parameter should we be polling bearing in mind that we are interested in fuel consumption of the diesel Gen (i.e power being delivered by the generators).
Maybe a dumb question but with the meter offering so many options its a little confusing.
Thanks in advance.
Ben
