HI.

Can the CSWIP OR CWI Welding Inspector Qualify the PQR/wps..or need 3rd party to qualify the PQR for submerged arc welding (SAW)

The tests themselves (bend, stretch, X-ray, metalgraphic, etc.) qualify the new weld procedure as designed by the responsible engineer for the responsible company. The inspector (visual, NDE, Xray, or testing company) only certifies each inspection was done properly.
