Hey,
I'm currently an engineering student at the University of Ghent, Belgium.
For a project work at school I need to develop a finite element study of a polymer flow through a split die, in the pre/post application of Siemens NX 11.
I was wondering if you know how to calculate the Reynoldsnumber of the flow in the different elements.
I also wonder if you guys know any site where I can find files to add to the material library from different kinds op polymers (like PVC, PE, PP, ...).
Because in my standard library there are materials like PVC available, but under its solid form and I don't think that it will automatically 'melt' in the simulation when I raise the temperature above its melting temperature.
I thank you in advance,
Niels
