Precision cast T316 vs 2205 vs 17-4

We are currently producing a precision cast parts in T316 stainless, a customer is requesting for more strength for the part. We have heard about 2205 and 17-4 stainless but in bars or sheets, not much info on these 2 materials in precision cast form.
Does any one has any idea how much more strength will gain percentage wise from T316 to 2205 and from T316 to 17-4.
Also the comparison of the corrosion resistance for these 3 materials.

17-4 PH has a yield of approx 130ksi
2205 duplex is approx 70ksi
316 is approx 30ksi yield but ultimate is 70ksi

17-4 is a total bear to machine
 
For corrosion resistance, 17-4PH sst is typically considered to have general corrosion resistance somewhere between 304 and 316 sst. A standard duplex casting, not 2205 but rather CD4MCu (cast Ferralium 255 super duplex) would is considered to have general and localized corrosion resistance that is better than 316 sst.

CD4MCu typically as 110 ksi tensile and 80 ksi yield, much stronger than 316, but not as strong as 17-4PH sst. But much easier to get. Also, properties for 17-4PH sst vary with heat treatment.
 
ASTM A890 covers cast duplex stainless grades. You have choices in terms of corrosion resistance. You will see that most of these grades have similar strengths.
You would also need to require A923 to assure that the parts are correctly heat treated.

The duplex grades will give you higher strength than 316 and better corrosion resistance without making the part very difficult to manufacture.

You cannot use a duplex at temperatures over 600F or below -40F. Other than that caution you should be good to go.

You may also consider ASTM A747 "Standard Specification for Steel Castings, Stainless, Precipitation Hardening", which lists two grades: CB7Cu-1 (17-4) and CB7Cu-2 (15-5).
