I am curious (before I start a PQR for my FPQ) if there are any pre-qualified FPQ for the vertical position. I have pre-qualified FPQs for the horizontal position but I need something where we will be connecting to existing HDPE pipe and the joint will need to be fused in the vertical. The pipe is a 6" DR1 and will be a flanged connection to existing in one spot and pipe to pipe in another.

Thanks.

What is an FPQ?

Fusion Procedure Qualification as per ASME IX Part QF - Article XXII?
You’re looking for an SFPS as per QF-220?
