Hi,

I have a design for a floor display that is made of a bent 1" tube in a 12" diameter that sits on the floor. I am trying to find a foot pad for this and would like to avoid drilling into the bottom. Does anyone know of an off the shelf rubber or felt pad that has a negative cylindrical profile on the back to fit onto a 1" tube?

Thanks,

Josh

I see plenty of them in the wild, so someone makes them. Not even adhesive-based, just snaps right on with a wrap-around of >180 degrees (say, 200?) In fact, I believe the chairs in our break room have them on the bent-wire bases that act as legs. No idea if there's a specific name for that.

yeah, now that you mention that I've seen them too. Yet I can't find any available off the shelf. Not sure of those were just tooled up by the companies that use them on their products.

interesting. that's a good start. I definitely hadn't thought of including "cove" before.
