Hello colleagues,
Considering the need to design an external heating coil in a pressure vessel as shown in the attached image, and taking into account the practical possibility of using a rectangular section as shown in the same image, I have the following doubt:
how to obtain the allowed pressure inside the coil? I'm not sure which way to go within the following options defined in the EE appendix - paragraph 3:

EE-3 JACKETS WITH OTHER GEOMETRIES
For other jacket geometries such as shown in Figure
EE-5, the permissible pressure P ′ may be obtained from
the rules of UG-47 for stayed construction or 9-5 for
jacketed vessels.
