Hello all,

I'm trying to model an impact of a 3D beam on an analytical rigid. Can any one explain how the penetration of the beam into the analytical rigid body can be prevented. I tried general contact but it did not give the desired result.

Regards,

Mofy

Hello IceBreakerSours,
Thank you for your reply. The problem that I am trying to solve needs the tube be modelled as a beam and this tube is drop tested on an analytical rigid surface. I tried many techniques to model the interaction between these parts but I could not prevent the penetration of tube into the analytical rigid surface.

Thank you,

Mofy
