Previous versions to V.15

I previously had written calcualtion sheets in both MathCAD 13 and 2000. Some sheets I created in 2000 won't calculate under V13 and now I find the same thing with V13 files in V15. Any suggestions of how to fix this without having to completely rewrite the calculation sheets?

The attached was created in V13 and doesn't work in V15.

The file opens fine in 15. I suspect it needs a bit of tidying up to get all the overlapping regions in calculation order. Also origin needs setting to 1. The use of k and h in the Chord.trans and Chord.long is not correct.

I took a crack at it. My general preference is to avoid using built-in units as variable names, since that can often lead to disastrous effects.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the indices, but in several places, a single-index variable has multiple indices in their definition. When all the indices are included in the variable, i.e., Chord.trans[k,h instead of only Chord.trans[h This apparently allows the sheet to continue to calculate

btw, your sheet doesn't seem to work in my M11, so it's not clear what the issue is with the indices, but changing them as I did for M15, it works in M11 as well.

To avoid the disastrous results that IRStuff alludes to, I've started always using the dot and subscript on everything to the left of the :=. I recently had occasion to need Angstroms for the first time in a long time. I had gotten into the sloppy habit of using "A" for "area" and when I said I wanted a tiny number in Angstroms I got square ft instead. After cussing MathCad (for my mistake) for a while I realized what I'd done and went through the whole sheet and tried to be more consistent.
