Hello, my name ist stefan and i have a question about draft sight free

does someone know how to print "points" on paper?

when i'm printing, the points don't appear on the paper. on the sheet view everything is fine, but he doesn't print it... tryed different layers, colors, sizes, design of the points... nothing. draft sight help says somethin about "print status" for helping geometry (for example: points) but i don't find any checkbox in the point format or in the print settings which turn that on or off.

sorry for my english its just a school one from a few years ago... hope you understand what i try to say...

regards,
stefan

You could make your points by creating a small diameter circle and then adding a Hatch/Fill.

Possibly, the correct way to fix it is to give the point thickness. Select one of the points, Right click to open the Properties dialog box (or open it first, then select a point). The 7th box down is the thickness setting. By default it is 0.0000

Give it a thickness so that it will print something.

Hint: move the cursor over the icon for each box and keep it still, then the description of what the box is will pop up.

No, does'nt work. Theres a "Line thickness" and just "thickness", tried both... I reinstalled the program on a other computer, same thing. I thought i did some settings wrong, but seems to be standard. But the draftsight help talks about "... if you don't like to delete your construction geometry (points), so put them on a seperate layer an turn printing off. Or change the point style to "nothing" for printing..."

Sounds like they should be printed normaly... perhaps something with my printer is wrong? Can you try it please on your machine?
