Print to plain 8.5 x 11 sheet (no borders, and text)

Hey all,

Does anyone know if inventor can print to just a 8.5 x 11 sheet without any borders and text fields?

I want to use Inventor to print patent drawings, I've search all through the A-E sheet templates, but I don't see a way to remove the borders and text field, or to print to just a plain sheet.


I think it's a little ironic, software ostensibly for inventors, can't be used to print patent drawings, LOL

I assume you mean you would like to print a 2D .idw on to a 8.5 x 11 with no border or title block, which in that case of course Inventor can.

All you need to do is select the right sheet size in this case A, then delete the border and the title block. Select the border from the browser tree and delete. Same for the title block.

Right Mouse Button everything in Inventor for hidden functionality.

Not really sure why but I easily deleted all text and borders when I tried what was suggested here. I thought I had tried all the right options before sending up this thread, guess not
