I'll try to keep this short and easy...

I am trying to print 11x17 prints to a Sharp Laser Printer. I can go into all the printer preference files I can find and tell it to fit to page, or print 100% or actual size, and when I print it comes out about 3"x5" on a 11x17 sheet of paper...

Is there any user friendly way to set up printing/plotting in NX3 to be able to actually get the print to fit the sheet it's supposed to?

Sorry if this is vague but we are really stumped here...

Thanks!

What printer language does the printer support? If PostScript, you can select an Initialization file from the Print Admin utility that I think will set the page size. I'm not sure what to do about other printer languages....sorry.

To get to the correct dialog, open the SDI Print Admin, click on the Printers tab, select the corresponding printer from the list, then click on the Setup button. You should see a white box (second from bottom) that says 'Initialization File' above it. Browse to the correct location and select the correct init. file.

Hope that gets things going for you. Without going through the entire printer and printer model setup, it's hard to guess what might have been the problem.
